God's Love (3)

I must say, this would be the concluding part of our discussion on this topic, but we've definitely not covered much on the topic. In this part, I would just drop one thought for us, in continuation of the first part. Lets assume two people are having a similar need, and we are in a very good position to meet that need but we have the ability to help just one person. Assuming one of the persons is a one of your children and the other, maybe the son of your sister; I'm so sure 99.99% of us would choose to help our child and forget about our sister's child. Just as this is, so it is with the Love of God, GOD'S LOVE DIFFERENTIATES, THOUGH IT DOESN'T DISCRIMINATE. Just as we would choose to save ours, God would also choose to totally open up His blessings to His. Though sinners have the privilege of grace (Romans 6:1), but God's children have the privilege of a far higher level of grace. So the point I'm making now is that, let us not remain in sin with the t

God's Love (For Christmas)

First of all let me start by saying MERRY CHRISTMAS, may we live long to experience many more in wealth and good health. AMEN. Christmas as we know is a celebration of Christ's birth, and Christ I believe as we know is an expression of the love of God towards man. Now, lets discuss a little on the above stated statement. God sits on His throne in Heaven, and as recorded in the Bible, all occupants of Heaven (Angels, 24 elders and so on) are constantly worshiping God and the way I see it, humanly speaking one would definitely be able to talk as friends do to people who constantly bow before, so it seems Jesus was the only 'partner' of God in Heaven, He was the only one God could sit down and discuss with. So it was like sending Jesus to the earth meant keeping God in a state of 'boredom' for some 33 years. And he didn't do this for His earthly friends, but for His enemies; people who hate him and would intentionally do what He hates -Us.  Now imagine the love

God's Love

To start off with, we talk about the very nature of God, Love, which according to 1 Corinthians 13:13 is greater than Hope and even Faith. God initially made man to have fellowship with him but along the way man fell and the relationship got broken, but the love of God is ever sufficient and was around even when we were sinners, so in John 3:16 God sent Jesus to die for us. One thing we should learn now is that Gods love is always available for us no matter how a sinner we are because according to 1 Peter 3:9b, God wants no man to perish but for everyone to come to repentance, so because of this God will love us and 'keep an eye on us' even till the end. But one thing we should always avoid is the misuse of God's love, how can we misuse it, you ask, Romans 6:1 answers it, when we live a reckless life hoping God's love is available, it can frustrate Gog's love on us, remember, just as the Spirit of God can be grieved, God's Love can also be grieved. So lets be
