Now that I am Saved
I recently had the impression to share this post. It’s an awakening call to the Church to remind us of our main objectives. A trend I’ve observed in recent times in the Church is that we seem to deviate from our core values by raising arguments that shift our gaze away from our goal. Little wonder Paul wrote to Timothyabout these things and mentioned this nothing less than 3 times in his letters. 1 Timothy 1:3-4 Don’t let them waste their time in endless discussion of myths and spiritual pedigrees 1 Tim. 4:7 Don’t waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives’ tales, instead train yourself to be godly. 2 Tim 2:16 Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behaviour Now that I’m saved, I’ve been translated in God’s eternal kingdom, what do I do; am I to live my life normally as I used to, expecting a mighty power to overwhelm me one day and change everything?
